Can Remote proctor see your screen?

Proctors have the ability to view the screen and utilize the mouse and keyboard as if they were sitting next to you. Once the exam starts, your proctor will monitor everything on the computer screen, but can no longer utilize the your mouse and keyboard.

Everyone will receive Red, Yellow, and Green Dots. Those indicate the overall suspicion of the student. You will also receive Red or Yellow Flags for other items Proctorio thought was suspicious during their exam. These flags are based on your selected settings.

Does Proctorio make you use a mirror?

You will take your exam electronically using the course website, but you will register with ProctorU for your exam appointment. You need a webcam, speakers, microphone and a reliable Internet connection to take your exams. Wireless Internet is not recommended. You will also need a mirror or othe r reflective surface.

Does Proctorio record all Web traffic on your IP?

Read and change all your data on the websites you visit: To make sure test takers aren’t navigating to websites or tabs that can give them an unfair advantage, Proctorio will monitor web traffic only during the designated exam period. Proctorio does not have access to your browser history.
