Some investigations are really curious. One of them is the worldwide survey carried out by the University of Ulster (Northern Ireland), thanks to which this institution found out the average size of the penis according to the country of origin .

The data analysed correspond to 116 countries, and the results show that African and American citizens stand out for having a larger size in terms of male intimate parts. Spain is in 82nd place, with an average size of 13.85 cm . Come on, some data that are not for shooting rockets either.

What is a normal penis?

Many men (and perhaps many women) have probably asked themselves: what is the average size of the penis? Well, precisely this question aroused the curiosity of a group of researchers who conducted a study that was published in the BJU International (British Journal of Urology International).

The research analyzed the length of more than 15,000 penises worldwide and determined the average size. The results show that the average size of the erect penis is 13.12 centimeters long and 11.66 centimeters in circumference. At rest, the average length of the penis is 9.16 centimeters and a circumference of 9.31 centimeters.

The study also concluded that only 2.28% of men have a micropenis , and only 5% of men have a penis longer than 16 cm.

Does the size of the penis really matter?

It is common to hear the phrase “size does not matter, what matters is inside” or “that size does not matter, but how the captain sails”. But how true are these statements? According to a study carried out by the Australian National University based in Canberra, and echoed by the ABC newspaper, larger penises seduce heterosexual women .

Another investigation corroborates these results. Findings from a University of New Mexico in California study indicate that women of sexually active age, that is, 18-65 years old, prefer members that are larger than average.

Despite these results, science has shown many times that there are other attributes that are important for attraction.

15. Brazil
