How to remove blackheads from the nose? 7 solutions

Blackheads in the nose appear due to a hormonal imbalance, the pores of the skin become blocked, fat accumulates in them, and added to the accumulation of dead cells and their process of oxidation, the whole gives rise to this annoying problem.

In most cases, preventing this phenomenon linked to skin maintenance is simple if a correct facial cleaning routine is maintained. However, once they have appeared, there are simple remedies with which they can easily be eliminated .

1. Brown sugar

When we start looking for remedies on how to eliminate blackheads from the nose, home remedies can be very economical and effective allies to do it; however we always have to be careful of the ingredients we use so as not to hurt the skin or infect it.

Sugar is a natural and very effective exfoliant. Simply combine three tablespoons of sugar with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and make a mixture.
Apply to the face with circular movements and let it act for 20 minutes. This routine should be performed 2 or 3 times a week. This home remedy is one of the most effective and quickest to remove blackheads from the nose, but here are some others.

2. Egg white

Simply add 10 drops of lemon juice to the egg white and apply this mixture to your face. Leave on for 30 minutes and remove with warm water .

This remedy for removing blackheads should be applied at night, as lemon juice can cause spots when exposed to the sun, especially on very white skin. The combination of egg white and lemon should be applied carefully and at night, and be sure to rinse thoroughly.

3. Adhesive strips

In addition to home remedies, there are alternatives on the market to remove blackheads that are very efficient and of very different prices and forms.

The adhesive strips designed to clean the pores are available over the counter and can be found in pharmacies or supermarkets. Almost any brand or type of adhesive strip can be used. They are very practical, you only have to place them in the area where you want to remove the black dots and leave them in place so that they can be removed later.

4. Masks

Specific masks are available to remove blackheads from the nose or any area of the face where they commonly accumulate. Those that are composed of clay are usually the most efficient because they help as an exfoliant and cleanse impurities from the skin.

In the market there are many brands and prices, to select one you have to take into account the type of skin (normal, mixed or oily) and read the instructions if there is any restriction to apply it during the day or at night.

5. Gelatin with milk

This is another home remedy that works very well and is simple to prepare and apply.

To use it, you need one tablespoon of unflavored gelatin and one tablespoon of milk. You have to mix the ingredients and heat them in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Then apply it preferably with a brush and leave it to work. Once it dries easily, the black dots are removed as they adhere to the gelatine and come off easily.

6. Steam bath

This alternative for removing blackheads from the nose requires a lot of hygiene and care and is usually recommended only when there are not many blackheads.

Simply heat water in a container until it makes enough steam and place the face on top at a point where you are not in danger of burning yourself but where the steam will reach you. If possible, cover over your head with a towel or cloth.

After a few minutes, remove from the steam and with your hands very well cleaned and preferably disinfected, gently squeeze the area where the black spots are concentrated.

The steam helps the skin to expand and open the pores allowing the blackheads to come out easily, however you have to be very careful not to hurt and not to infect.

7. Toothbrush and toothpaste

A very efficient tool that serves as an exfoliator is a toothbrush . It can be used with one of the homemade exfoliating masks (like sugar with lemon) or with the masks sold in supermarkets. Once you have cleaned your face of makeup, you can apply toothpaste to your face, remove it after leaving it on for a while, and apply a mask by rubbing it in with your toothbrush in a circular motion.
