The Mensalus Institute, a reference centre of psychology in Barcelona, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Antonio de Nebrija University for the development of its training programmes aimed at professionals in the field of psychology.

In a first phase, the Master in Integrative Psychotherapy will be carried out jointly in its face-to-face version and in a new online version. In the future, new training proposals will be incorporated to this agreement.

The Master in Integrative Psychotherapy, designed for graduates in Psychology oriented towards the clinical and health field, offers the theoretical and practical tools to learn the fundamentals of psychotherapy in a real psychological and psychiatric assistance environment, in constant contact with patients and therapists.

A Master’s degree to learn the details of therapeutic practice

The combination of the academic and the practical, the logics of the university and of the private practice in therapy consultation, helps the students to capture all the nuances of the profession from an integrative theoretical position.

In this way, the students of the Mensalus University Master’s Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy can, on the one hand, observe cases of real psychological intervention in real time (which take place at the Mensalus Institute itself), and on the other hand, learn by carrying out practice with real cases under the supervision of the teaching staff .

By being immersed in an environment that has a large patient base, it is possible to see varied cases and understand the functioning of different types of intervention in therapy.

In addition, students are constantly advised and guided by therapist-tutors who focus their main professional activity on therapeutic practice.

Due to its characteristics in terms of the interest of the contents taught in it and the tools it offers to learn the practical side of psychotherapy, in addition to providing the university degree of the Universidad Nebrija, the master is endorsed and recommended by the Spanish Society for the Integration of Psychotherapy and is considered “of interest to the profession” by the Col-legi Oficial de Psicologia de Catalunya .
