1. Toxic

The relationship with colleagues is one of the greatest sources of motivation to go to the workplace and do a good job. Not only that, but different studies have shown that the relationship between workers, in the case of being positive, acts as a buffer to reduce stress or burnout .

In other words, the relationship between colleagues affects occupational health and performance, for better or for worse. In the companies we go through we will realize that there are always good people who will help us but, sometimes, we can find people who will make life impossible for us, people who intoxicate the good atmosphere and go where nobody calls them.

Toxic workers, also known as conflict workers, are those who make the conflicts expand , they have continuous friction with their colleagues, they are critical, and they can even believe they are the bosses despite not having any power. 2. Defeatist

At work, as in life, we may come across people who have different ways of looking at life and different attitudes towards it. Generally, these types of people are the same at work and outside it. Sometimes we may come across defeatist people, who have a low perception of self-efficacy in what they do .

Low self-confidence has an impact on the quality and quantity of the work you do and on the different relationships you have with the various actors involved in your working world: bosses, colleagues and clients.

3. Perfectionist

Another type of worker that we can find and that, as in the previous case, his behaviour can have repercussions on the effectiveness and efficiency of his work, is the perfectionist worker . Doing things well is good, because companies want to have efficient and productive workers.

But the perfectionist worker is the one who takes his work home with him and is never happy with what he does, which affects his working health and can lead to a series of stress and anxiety. Although many people think that being a perfectionist is good, these types of people get frustrated quickly because they always see imperfections even when things are going well and they often have a poor self-esteem.

4. Clueless

There are some workers who are not very methodical and can become absent-minded and forgetful . These workers may cause problems or add to the work of other employees because of their incompetence. Generally, this can be the cause of organization, motivation or even the boredom syndrome at work, known as boreout.

5. Slow

The toxic partner often has a bad intention and destabilizes the work environment. And. although without a bad intention in the background, sometimes, we can meet the gossiping worker. This person is a type of worker who always gets into trouble and is more concerned with finding out what is going on in the personal lives of his colleagues than with doing his job properly.

7. Conceited

The conceited worker is a worker who thinks he knows everything and is the best . They are usually charismatic people who may like each other at first, but they are not very cooperative and do not favour teamwork.

8. Opponent

The opponent is a type of employee who is always in the opposite position . Whatever the reason, he always has something to say, whether it is relevant or not. The important thing is to say your own. The opponent can be annoying.

9. Fishing boat

The pesetero is the worker who only looks for the pasta . He can be a good worker for commercial jobs, because money is his great motivation. However, they are very individualistic and not at all reliable. They can leave at any time without any consideration.

10. Complaint

The complainant has a bad predisposition towards work and always complains about everything . It is possible that he is not motivated by his work or that he simply hates being in that company. 11. Selfish

The selfish one is the typical person who only looks at himself . Nowadays, companies value teamwork for its benefits, so this type of worker usually has difficulties to fit into work groups.

12. Robot

There are people who are very creative and fit into a certain job; and other people are more practical and robotic and fit better into a job , such as: in the chain production of a factory.

13. Ambitious

Ambition can be good in companies that encourage development within the organisation. But, excessive ambition, can negatively affect work performance for a given position . For example, if someone wants to be a director in the short term and has to start from the bottom. This can lead to rapid demotivation.

14. Ball

The ball is the one that is always around the boss’s area and is always behind him to compliment him and fill his ear with praise. This type of behaviour can have an impact on your relationship with your colleagues.

15. Disorganized

The disorganized is the type of worker who is not very methodical and, consequently, not very productive . This happens because he spends too much time looking for things and wastes too much time.

16. Social

Everybody likes the social because they like to interact with their colleagues . He sees life with optimism and likes to organize events and make life outside the 4 walls of the office. The problem arises when this hinders his performance.
